  • Enhancement: 3rd Party timeout settings increased from 15 seconds to 60 seconds. This is primarily to support Message Sniffer users that choose not to run that program is persistent mode.
  • Bugfix:Default ClamAV settings have been updated to support the newest releases of ClanScan.exe and ClamDscan.exe. Please make certain you update your ClamAV programs as well.
  • Bugfix: UserDefinedAV settings are now interpreted *exactly* as you type them in. Quotes will no longer be added automatically by mxGuard. The result is greater compatibility with other 3rd party anti-virus tools.

mxGuard v1.x.x is no longer supported – Saturday, September 16, 2006

  • The v1.x series of mxGuard was retired in October of 2005 and we continued to support it for nearly a year.
  • Free technical support and product downloads are no longer available for the v1.x series of applications.

mxGuard 2.4 is now available and is a free update to users of mxGuard v2.0 – v2.3 – Tuesday, May 30, 2006
